How does it work?
We meet at a pre-determined venue, usually with WiFi. It can be pretty much anywhere, coffee shop, community centre, or private house. We’re planning one on the top of a mountain soon!
What do you do there?
You can use the time you spend at Jelly to keep working as usual, or answer emails and phone calls, use Twitter, Facebook or any network to promote your business, write your blog, do your accounts, it’s entirely up to you.
What do I need?
Well, probably your laptop, power cables, notebook, and phone, anything else that you need in order to work. Don’t forget to bring good humour and an open mind!
What’s provided?
WiFi, chairs and desks are provided. Sometimes tea and coffee are available, with sometimes charge to cover this. There’s no entry fee, but you’ll find other like-minded people who are happy to share knowledge on IT and other specialties.
Any rules?
Jelly is free and we understand that you have a life to live, so you can come and go when you want. Of course you can make calls, engage in conversation, share ideas, ask questions, chew gum, and shout at your computer (but not too loud)!
All we ask is for you to register online so we can make sure there are enough places for everyone. While you’re there be respectful of others and remember, it’s a working environment and not a sales opportunity!
